Fury’ Will It Emerge As the Best Movie of the Year, Furywas a good movie. A good Hollywood movie, but in reality between the Sherman M4 and the German Panther Tiger tank, when a Sherman tank commander saw a Tiger tank he wouldn’t engage. He would turn the Sherman tank around and high tail out of there. American men experienced ” Tiger – Phobia”. The huge Tiger tanks sheering sound and the shaking of the ground scared them. There are even stories of group Sherman tanks going the opposite direction fast as they can from one Tiger tank. A single Tiger tank can destroy large numbers of enemy tanks without a problem. German technology and engineering was 20 years ahead of us.
SS soldiers wearing proper camouflage, The SS expanded from a small paramilitary unit to a powerful force that served as the Führer’s bodyguard, the Nazi Party’s “Protection Squadron” and a force that, fielding almost a million men (both on the front lines and as political police), managed to exert as much political influence in the Third Reich as the Wehrmacht, Germany’s regular armed forces. Pitt holding an Stg44, a REAL Tiger tank and Germans popping up from the ground to take out tanks! It’s about time a World War 2 movie accurately portrayed the desperate last year of the war with the proper weaponry, uniforms and tactics. I may have to see this many times.
For the first time ever a REAL Tiger tank in a ‘Fury’ movie? What an beast! Also is this one of the first movies about a Tank Squad, something different then the standard movies about infantry. And for people saying “A Sherman beats a Tiger Tank!!.  First, we haven’t seen the movie yet so we don’t know who wins. And yes, a Sherman tank could beat a Tiger tank, the last model M4A3E8, could.
When people talk about penetration of shells v whatever tank it is being used against, it should be taken into consideration what shell is being used and from what gun and the range to defeat the armor of that tank. All the AP type rounds depend on kinetic energy to defeat armor, but is subject to range degradation. HEAT and HESH rounds rely on an explosive reaction to defeat the armor and are not subject to range degradation. (Range degradation meaning the greater the range the lower the penetration).
Wow what a shit. Rambo 2 is more realistic then this. I want a movie about a German, full Nazi crew. Those guys had a chance to be heroes. It’s a tough fact USA never faced an evenly-matched opponent in entire WW2, so they have to make up stuff like this.
